Nurses

The practice nurses hold their own clinics and advise on a variety of problems. In particular, their work includes new patient medicals, cervical smears, immunisations and travel advice, the monitoring of asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary heart disease and smoking cessation clinics. They are also responsible for dressings, ear syringing, suture removal and the treatment of minor injuries.

Healthcare Assistants

The Healthcare Assistant supports the clinical team. They are responsible for new patient medicals, blood tests, taking and monitoring blood pressure, ECG's, weight management and wound dressing. The healthcare Assistant clinics are Monday - Friday 9.00am to 12.00pm by appointment only.
